Dr. Rebecca H. Porrino

Dr. Rebecca Porrino is a California licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, a holistic women’s health care provider with sub-specialties in chronic disease, hormone imbalance, pregnancy care, pediatrics and fertility.

A published author and researcher in the field of women’s health, Dr. Rebecca’s approach to treatment blends the best of modern science with the traditional natural methods of healing for exceptional results.   In her private

practice, she has found that building closer relationships with patients improves the quality of their healthcare.  Patients get better faster with more support and guidance.

Dr. Porrino was born and raised in New England, swinging from the trees with 5 brothers and sisters.  Seeking adventure and the beauty of the West, graduate school drew her out to Oregon, where she completed her medical training and met her husband.  When out of the office, Dr. Rebecca loves a good restaurant, an interesting article, time to cook Italian food passed down from her grandmother and spending time with her husband and son, Lucian, in the outdoors.

Dr. Porrino finds practicing as a family doctor a privilege and a joy. It gives her great pleasure to expand the health options to woman and their families.

Dr. Marcus Porrino

Born and raised in the Bay Area,  Dr. Porrino returned to Northern California to establish his family practice. Dr. Porrino is licensed by the state of California to practice Naturopathic Medicine as a primary care doctor.

Dr. Marcus Porrino (also known as "Dr. Marcus " by many of his patients) has seen time and time again that, when given the proper support and guidance, the human body will always move towards a healthier state; physically, mentally, and emotionally.  He believes that a true holistic approach to

health recognizes that symptoms are clues to uncovering the cause of illness, not the illness itself.

Although Dr. Porrino practices as a general family doctor, his sub-specialties include endocrine (hormone) dysfunction such as thyroid disorders, hormone imbalance and menopause, adrenal insufficiency (fatigue caused by the stress response), diabetes, and andropause ("man-o-pause"). Dr. Porrino enjoys helping children reach their true health potentials and works with many children and young adults with learning and developmental challenges such as ADD/ ADHD, Autism, PDD, Asperger's and OCD.  Cancer supportive care is another area where Dr. Porrino has devoted many hours of extra training and study and has seen remarkable results using naturopathic medicine not only to ease the uncomfortable side effects of conventional treatments, but improve overall outcomes as well.  Dr. Marcus is an IFM (Institute for Functional Medicine) trained collaborative cancer provider and a certified DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) practitioner.

Dr. Marcus loves to travel and relishes being outdoors where he enjoys bee keeping, building projects, canoeing, hiking, snow boarding, and gardening. Dr. Porrino and his wife, Rebecca, are avid hot spring enthusiasts and proud parents of a little boy, 1 vocal cat, and approximately 500,000 honeybees!
